I've always been curious about connections between Nfld. and Texas Judges,....and I just found this.
Sara Jane Fox was born Sara Jane JUDGE in Twillingate,Newfoundland,Oct. 6,1881. Her father's name was JUDGE,born Nfld.,and mother Patience Rice,also born Nfld.
Sara Jane Judge Fox died Oct.15,1951,and is buried in Houston (Harris),TX,Forest Park Cemetery.
The fact she lived in TX under the married name of Fox may be coincidence,or it may be because she had Judge relative there. Anyone in Texas Judges know? Thanks.Ward.wardgreene@hotmail.com(I have compiled about 80 pages on Newfoundland Judges and happy to exchange information.
