Dorsey,
Thank you for responding to my post. I'm very sorry for the
misleading post. I was actually looking for my
great grandfather James Harrison Judd who was
in the 1920 Wayne Co., W.V. census as being born
in Ky. Age 33 in 1920. His 2 sons John Wesley Judd and James
Lenoard Judd married Fitzpatrick sisters,
who were born in Martin County, Ky. John and James
traveled back and forth across Tug River to
visit the Fitzpatrick sisters and other family.
My great grandfather was said to be an outcast from the family,
because of situations surrounding
his birth. I also have ran across the surname Judd
in surrounding counties. But, because of the
frequent visits the sons made to Martin Co.,
Ky.,.( to visit the Fitzpatrick sisters and
other family ). and not knowing which county
my great grandfather was born in. I was thinking the brothers may have
been visiting their father's family when they met the sisters.
And that James Harrison may have changed the spelling
of his name, due to the problems with him and his
family.
Thank you
Jorina Roberson
