have just discovered that Russell Henry Judd is in fact called ROSSELL ( or even Ross on some paper work) and not Russell as first thought.

I wondered of you could pass this onto someone to try again with him.

The new information I have is about Rossells father:

Charles Henry Judd ( husb of Elizabeth Jane Broumton)

The best is to read this page http://en.academic.ru/dic.nsf/enwiki/4713425

When I researched Yangzhou, this what I discovered, Rossell being referred to as Ross.

Rossell’s 3rd child carries his mothers maiden name (Broumton) above.

So with your help, we placed ‘Russell’ in Canada from age of 17, he was married in UK in 1889 ( age 19 or 20), so would have returned fairly quickly (between 1887and 1889?)

If you remember Rose arrived in Canada without Rossell but with Children in 1911 and you could not find him so far as going to Canada close to that date. I note in your email that you also refer to him as ‘Henry’ so perhaps he could be listed as Ross, Russell, Rossell or Henry or a combination of.

Anyway I am further intrigued by the Judd family and would like to discover as much as possible about them

Many thanks in advance ))))

Best wishes
Daniel Billington
