I am looking for the parents of Rosalie Jube, born about August 1874 in NY (possibly NJ). I am fairly certain she was married to Fred Pullen in 1896 in Millstone Twp., NJ after living there most of her life with the Fountain family. The 1870 census for NYC listed her as a niece. Sarah V. Fountain was a widow with two of her own children when Rosalie came to live with them. A later census (1900) shows she was b. in NY, her father was b. in Germany, and her mother b. in NJ. I found an Elizabeth Jube living in the same household as German-born George Bretsfield in the 1870 census. There may not be any more than coincidence, but an adult Rosalie was also living there. Thanks for any insight.
