Both were born in England; parents were Samuel and Eliza Blakeborough; Walter was married to Hellen Higgins who was born in New York her parents were from Ireland; the came to Philadelphia from England. 1930 Census shows a Helen Joynes living in Philadelphia with 3 sons: John W., Walter E. and Wrey. John was b. in Philadelphia and Walter E. and Wrey were born in N.J.
Arthur was b. feb. 20, 1872 and married Nellie Seamark.
Any information that any one may have would be greatly appreciated. My husband's family came from England and settled in Philadelphia. The family tree hs been traced back to 1651 in England with the oldest member being Joseph
and Margareth Shurley Gines who lived in Stratford on the Avon, Warwick.
My husband would appreciate any information on Walter and Arthur. Through research it appears that there are other members of this Joynes family living in Utah and he would love to make contact with them also.
Ernest E. Joynes and Ruby Pitman Joynes - Ernest is the grandson of Eliza and Samuel Joynes and lives in Maryland at this time.
