I am trying to prove the birth date of John Joynes, born c 1823, who was Samuel & Eliza Blakebrough's father, and also where he was in 1851 (somewhere between Inkberrow and birmingham probably).
My first record of him is in 1862 on Samuel's birth certificate, and he was living in Birmingham in 1864. Have you ever come across anything about him? I think his parents were Samuel Joynes & Eliza Arnold, though again i haven't got much in the way of hard evidence at the moment.
Any information would be gratefully received.
