Hi,
I'm also researching the Joynes name. My Joynes pedigree dates back to 1741 in Inkberrow and surrounding villages, Worcestershire, England.
My Great grandparents Samuel and Priscilla Joynes emigrated to America around 1892, and gave birth to lillian Joynes in 1893. They returned back to the UK some 5 years later.
I haven't managed to trace their whereabouts in America, though believe this to be Philadelphia, and haven't found them on any passenger ship lists. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Ian
Birmingham, England
