Peter, John, James, and Thomas Young of VA and NC
Posted by: John Young (ID *****1913) Date: June 27, 2007 at 15:57:29

Peter and John Young are listed in the 1764 Lunenburg Co Va tithes for Cornwell Parish which became Charlotte Co Va. I believe they or their kin may have moved to NC and settled in Guilford Co NC in what became Rockingham Co NC. Their descendents may have included James and Thomas Young who lived in Stokes Co NC by 1810. James and Thomas were next door neighbors on the 1810 Stokes Co. census.

They were neighbors of the Joyce family in both locations and 3 Young's married Joyce's.

I am looking for information on all of these Young's.
