In helping someone trace an ancestry, I found a few descendants of John, son of John the Baptist Joy
John Joy born 02/15/1770 MD died 08 13/1856 in Adams Muskegum Co OH, married first Elizabeth Smith 1770-1838 and second on 0/09/1838 Abigail Mace in Ohio, according to some genforum notes
Sons of John of Muskegum Co OH are at least two: Thomas Joy b circa 1806 in MD (married Amelia) and Henry Joy b 1815 in MD (m Elizabeth) This Henry Joy and his family and his nephew George W Joy ( son of Thomas,married Mary aka Daisy) moved to Eudora, KS. by 1870. Does anyone know of other children of John Joy of Muskegum Co OH?
