I have been researching this couple. In many on-line trees, I am finding the name Adeline Boudreau, but there are no sources for this attribution. I haven't been able to find a marriage record for this couple, nor for their first two children. It appears these events took place in Vermont btw 1848-1852 and records either haven't been discovered or don't exist.
In regard to Adeline's surname, having inspected baptism records of her children born in Fond du lac, Wisconsin, I believe her surname was Regnier dite Brion/Brillon. I also believe she was the sister of Sophie Regnier, wife of Laurent (Lawrence) Beaudreau, who were also French Canadian immigrants, and lived in Fond du lac, Wisconsin. A baptism record for Adeline Regnier dite Brion/Brillon has been found, 22 Apr 1825 in Pointe-Oliver (St Mathias) Rouville. This is the same parish that Eusebe Joubert was baptized in. The 1900 census indicates her birthdate as Apr 1825.
Without a marriage record, 100% certainty is not possible, however the sources I've found to date, lead me to conclude the above is probably correct.
