From Canada to US betw 1840-1860
I am looking for Joslins who immigrated to the United States from Canada between the years of 1840-1860.
My gg grandfather was born 1840 in Canada.
His first child Joseph N Joslin was born Oct 1860 in Nashua, Hillsborough Co, New Hampshire.
His wife Mary Pratt was born 1842 in Burlington, Chittenden Co, Vermont.
Joseph and Mary were on:
1870 census living in Bolton, Worcester Co, Massachusetts
1880 census living in Leominster, Worcester Co, MA
Mary died in 1890 in Leominster, MA.
Joseph died in 1892 in Leominster, MA
They were Catholics and were buried in St Leo's Cemetery, Leominster, MA
Their children were Joseph N (1860); Hattie (ca 1862); George (ca 1864); Frank (ca 1867); Ida (ca 1870); William (ca 1872); Lilia (ca 1875); Stella (ca 1876); Edward (ca 1877); Etta (ca 1887). There may be others born between 1880-1890 the year of mother's death.
Joseph either immigrated to the US alone in the late 1850s or immigrated to the US with family between the years 1840-1860--most likely to the New England area, however I have no documentation concerning where they may have lived from 1840-1860.
