Hi, I know you aren't. I also know most folks wouldn't be seeking genealogy info for any reason than stated. Maybe I just got miffed, when I saw a possibility of lot of people being less than forthcoming with info they find, as a result of a few radical militants.

We can't change, or justify the past. What we can do is insure that nothing like that ever happens again. Or that those who would attempt to promote "divisiveness" will not succeed.

I wish I did have information for you. I truly do. I was mad because as in many other things, the actions of the few will make it harder to get people to share what they do have.

What's really hard is finding info on Italian immigrants, before they "came over on the boat". Everyone seems to want their palms greased, and then if you do get something, you have to get it translated.

If I do find anything in my Josey line about a plantation, I'll definitely e-mail you. I've barely got them at all before they got to TX. But I have been finding a lot on these since 1900.

Take care and good luck.
David
