Thanks for your answer. Now that I look at it closer it does look like Nehemiah, not Jeremiah. I had just found that when I wrote and I am looking at census online images, they are terrible. I can't read 1860 at all. This Thomas H. is obviously the wrong one, mine died 1888 at age 70, so he would have been about 32 in this census. Why can't I find him? Do you think I would do better if I went to Sussex Co.?
