Okay, I guess the reason I didn't come up with it before was because I had figured that he and Hannah were born abt 1791. They are also in the 1860 census. Also, I have his son as Nehemiah, not Jeremiah. He (if it's the right one) can be found in the 1860 census (Millsboro, Indian River Hundred) and in the 1870 census (Hollyville, Indian River Hundred) with his wife Emily and their children (including a daughter named Hannah). Does this sound right?
