Dear Brian,
Thanks for the follow up information - I will check it out.
You didn't insult me - I am 65 this year which seems quite elderly especially when the aches and pains set in. My father William Fred Jose was born in 1906, his father (my grandfather)Harry Smith Jose was born in 1883 in Geraldton Western Australia. His father William John Jose (my great, grandfather) was born in Fremantle West Australia in 1852) and his father William J. Jose (my great, great grandfather) was born in Penryn, Cornwall in 1819 married a Letitia Ruddle (Ruddell, Ruddale).Went to Canada with the British army and was sent out to Western Australia in 1851 when the convicts were first sent to Western Australia.I am sorry I must have left out a 'great'.
None of the names you have mentioned appear in the list of children (there were seven including one set of twins).Usually the children are named after a parent or sibling. That is why I query a family link.
