I do not know the names of Knute's siblings but many years ago my mother told me an uncle of hers (great-uncle)taught for a time in a Lutheran college in Alberta, Canada. His name was Oppedhl and he was a minister. I presume he was Knute's brother as Mom said one or both of them changed sir names when they came to the U.S.My grandfather, Zecharia, known as Sebb, would be Rev. Oppedhl's nephew. My mother was born in Alberta where I live.Ruth Jorgenson, who has posted on this site, has a good deal of information. I will look in my file and see if I have more on Knute's family.
