Seeking LOYALIST JOHN JORDAN b 1729 Scotland

John Jordan b 1729, son of Jean Jordan b La Rochelle, France, son of Ozce Jordan/Jordain of La Rochelle France.

My John Jordan married Mary Daniels, of Dutch ancestry, 1757 prob NY. She b 1727.

In 1783 the emigrated to St John, New Brunswick as part of the Loyalist evacuation of New York. They died there and they are both buried in the Church of England Burial ground and their graves are reportedly under the cathedral built there.

Seeking info on them and their descendants, paticularly son JAMES, b 1761 Long Island, NY - d 1846 St John, NB. Married Judith Brundage b 1767 NY - d 1852 St John, NB.
Parents of Mary Jordan and Ann Stone Jordan who both married Sgt Maj Lewis Burns.
Brunswick.


Believed to be the parents of my gg-grandfather James Jordan Burns who married Charlotte Miles abt 4 Dec 1852 in Portland, St John, NB
