Thanks (I think) for that. That still leaves me with who were Joshuas (1755-1830) parents. I have have seen Jacob and Patience Small of NC, Josiah Josua and Mourning Ricks of Isle of Wight, and I believe another theory. Does your line come from one of these? For as many people I see that go back to Joshua (1755) none seem to be able to get any father. I would think that somebody has to have cracked this. There were about 5 Jordans in Washington Co. PA in 1790. Any suggestios would be appreciated. Bill Jordan
