yes your mother was the second child, ordella jean was the third,she was born in 1914 and died in 1936, I am also having a hard time finding info.on the browns,only got as far back as john wesley brown,grace brown's grandfather.I have gotten back as far as 1627 on the inscho side from rebecca inscho-brown.there were 8 children in your mother's family, william hershall was the first,born 1-9-1911,died 3-14-1911. maxine
