Thanks so much for your post. I have looked at this also and everything matches perfectly. The only problem is this. On all of the children of James & Mary Joplin, their death certificates say their Mother's maiden name is Mary Freeman( Not Sarah Freeman ) . I have wondered if Sarah also went by the name Mary. The marriage record also says James Joplins' wife is Mary Ann ( again not Sarah ).There must be a connection to the Freemans because a Fanny Freeman lives with the Joplings. So if I could find out who this Fanny Freeman was it might help. Also Mary Joplin West also named her daughter Fannie.
PS. Mary also says on the 1900 census that her father James Joplin ( Jopling) was born in Virginia not Tennessee as I stated earlier, so that matches also. Again thants for you help.
