Joplin Missouri could have been Jasper County,that is the county Joplin,Mo is now in. Joplin use to be murphyyville before it was name after my 3rd greatgrand uncle Harris Gilliam Joplin. if you happen to not find what you are looking for let me no and i will look and see in my files if it was another county.
