JONES-BAIRD WEDDING IS ANNOUNCED TODAY
The wedding of Miss Gladys Baird, daughter of Mrs. M. e. Baird of Longmont to Clyde A Jones, son of Mrs David Jones of Brooklyn, which took place April 23, was announced here today.
Rev. J. F. Vought performed the ceremony at the Grace Baptist Church manse at Brooklyn at 4:00 p.m.
The bride wore an aqua suit with rose accessories and a corsage of red roses and lilies of the valley.Miss Ardis Price of Denver, who was maid of honor, wore a fuscsia suit with white accessories and a corsage of rose and lilies of the valley.Howard J. Miller was best man.
A reception at the home of the bridegroom followed the wedding.
The bride is a graduate of Longmont High School and has been employed at Fitzsimons general hospital, Denver.The bridegrooom recently was discharged after service in the army.
After a short wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Jones will make their home at 737 Forty-Ninth street Brooklyn.
