David (Ramsey?) Jones married a Olive Ballard Hollingshead or an Olive Josey bef 1836.

Zedeck Ezekiel S. Jones married Sarah Elizabeth Thomas and had 6 children. Only 2 survived to adulthood, Wm Henry Jones (my line) and Roxanna Jones. Their brother Trus, was the only other child to make a census (1870) at age 5mo. He was not present on the 1880 census.
Rebecca Jane Jones married John Powell Deason. She is buried in the Flat Rock Cem. Note their children's names:

In the 1880 Census Olive is a widow, living next door to Rebecca & John Deason, and she is listed as a midwife.

Ezekiel Jones was in the CSA and there are records showing his full name as Zedeck Ezekiel S. Jones. His Discharge record states he was born in Covington, Ala. Descendants in the Deason line, who are old enough, recall him as "Uncle Zed".
