Seeking information on George Washington Jones, born in
Dec. 1852/53 in Tn. Orphaned around 5 yrs of age.
A G. W. Jones of the right age was living in the
G. W. McMahon household in the Dickson Co. Tn (Danielsville), 1860 census. He could possibly have
had ties to McMinnville or the Lookout Mountain area, since he spoke of them.
His mother's name was Queenie. He had brothers named
William and Green and a sister named Annie or Emily. He
married Elizabeth Smith in 1881 in Milam Co. Texas.
Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
