Anne, thanks for the reply. From THE LIGON FAMILY by Wm. D. Ligon p 468-9 gives the following children for Harrison Jones, Sr ( the RS who lost leg at Guilford Court House) & wife Ann Ligon as:Thomas L. Jones b. 1783, Elizabeth b.1785, John Peyton b. 1787, Daniel b. 1789,Weldon b. 1790,Richard b.?, . Harrison b. July 15, 1795, William S. b. 1803. The only spouse given is Lucy Early for Richard. She was dau of GA Governor Peter Early. We have been trying for months to find wife and children for Thomas (Ligon) Jones who was a doctor. His bro Weldon was also.Thomas died in Morgan Co. Ga 1818.My gggrandmother was Martha Ann Jones b. GA.I have been told that her grandfather was Harrison Jones, she did name a son Harrison, and that her father was a Dr. Jones who died when she was a small child. She was born 1814-17. I thought perhaps Weldon's descendents in MS might have some info if any are in genealogy.Let's you and I stay in touch on this.See #13482. Janet Webster
