Dear Ron, Way back there, we're probably cousins. One of my records differs from yours a tad, so I thought I'd ask about it. You have Louis Joncas marrying Louis Couillard in St Thomas on 11/10/1760. My records indicate that the marriage took place in Montmagny on May 29, 1738. Is it possible that there were two marriages [two different couples]?
I am searching for infoamtion on the descendants of one of the sons of Louis & Louise: Joseph Joncas. He married Marie Victoire Pelletier on 02/25/1805. My grandmother, Louis Marie Joncas, descends from Joseph Joncas to Joseph Joncas to Francois Xavier Joncas. Any help will be much appreciated. Charles L. McGranaghan, Carson City, Nevada
