My gr-gr grandfather was Ephraim Jonah born at Coverdale, married Ann Leeman March 3, 1829. He had, at least, two sons, Moses and Enoch born November 15, 1838 at Coverdale and died at Boston, Massachusetts January 20, 1919. He married Mary McKinnon born November 9, 1839(Laughlin McKinnon and Ann McDonald of PEI). Enoch and Mary had, at least, 7 children all born at Moncton: Archibald (married Effie ???); Ira (married Cora Delano); William (married Evelyn ???); Annie (married William Wirtz); Alice (married ???? Taylor); Eva Jonah; Judson Dinestead Jonah. I descend from Judson born December 31, 1874, died March 24, 1910 at Norwood, Massachusetts. Judson married Bertha May Carlton born at Weld, Maine May 18, 1877, died at Walpole, Massachusetts February 21, 1960. They married at Hyde Park, Massachusetts March 17, 1898.

My aunt Eva and her sister Edith always believed the Jonahs were from Switzerland, but I have no proof of that. A chart on the descendants of Peter Jonah, died near Moncton 1770 attest to the same thing.

I am searching for the parents of Ephraim and Ephraim's children and their descendants.Any assistance will be appreciated.
