Seems to me that there are two Jolley clans in Congleton, because yours appear to be the ones I have found which don't fit into my tree.At least, in the mid-1800s, but it is entirely possible that they are liked at some point.
My clan (as far as I have got at the moment) reads like this: 1.William Jolley (?? B. 1805 d. 1859 ??, butcher) Has a son John Jolley (haven't got as far as looking for his other children yet, so that could be the link). 2.John Jolley (b. 1833, shoemaker) marries Eliza Eaton (b. 1834) in 1856. They have children Emma (1857), Mary (1860), John (1870), Ada (1873, my maternal grandmother), Alfred (1876) and Nellie (1880).I have more details on the lives of these children, but this is probably not relevant to you.
