Marion's Father was William Moses Joines born 14 Oct. 1855 probably in Tenn.. William Moses Joines lived in Whitewright, TX in 1899. William's Father was King Joines born 26 Oct. 1829 and died 13 Aug 1863 as a prisoner of war in Fort Delaware. King's Father was Moses Joines born 15 Feb. 1798 in North Carolina. Moses migrated to Tennessee. Moses's Father was Thomas Joines born about 1750. Thomas lived in Wilkes Co., NC and was a Revolutionary War Veteran. Thomas' father was Ezekiel Joines born about 1726. Ezekiel settled in NC but we are still not sure where he came from.
