I have just read your message and have to reply.
I am Graham Thomas Joines, dob 3rd Sep 1950. I and my family live on the South Coast of England near Brighton.
My father was William Henry Joines, born 17th Jan 1911 at Colwyn Bay in Clwyd, North Wales. My father died on 5th May 1978. Unfortunately I do not have his birth certificate stating his parents names but I am trying to obtain this.
His father was certainly William, as I recall later on in life, he lived at Puddington, a small village in The Wirral and the family called him "Puddington Bill". He died in about 1969/1970.
I do know that my fathers family lived in Hawarden and my dad attended the Hawarden Grammar School. My dad went to Canada in 1924 when he was 13/14 years old and returned to England in 1936.
My fathers brothers and sisters were Nancy, Alma, Bert, Harold and Fred. I think that the latter three may have been half brothers - but I am not sure about this. To my knowledge, Nancy and Harold have both died now.
From your message, there appears to much in common for any of this to be a coincidence.
I would not want to build up your hopes too much, but it looks like you are my aunt ! Wow !
