I'm afraid I don't know if any of the Johnstone's you mention are related to me but I can tell you that my great great uncle Milice Johnstone (son of James Johnstone 1832 - 1899) apparently moved to South Africa and my great uncle Leo Johnstone perished/drowned on-board HMS Hampshire with Lord Kitchener, which may or may not be relevant?
