There comes a time in life when one just really wants to know where they came from. I am 43 years old and need to know. Any leads would be appreciated.
My father: Hugh Chalmers came from Croshills Scotland in 1921. Settled in Pittsburg area. Married a lady named Elizabeth, had 2 children, Sophia and Robert. I do know Robert was born in Toronto Canada. Both would be 20 years my senior. In around 1958 Hugh moved to Canada where he met my mother.
Something else I was told was he served in the American forces, and in Canada as a police officer. Hugh had a sister Anne and sister Mary...hense where my name AnneMarie came from. This is just a shot in the dark for me so find something...anything
