"Fannie Johnson Taylor and her brother Andrew JOHNSON were both in Elbert Co.,Georgia before moving to Montgomery Co. Indiana". One census states Andrew was born in South Carolina.
My 4th great grandparents were, Barzilla TAYLOR, born ca 1770, in North Carolina. He and Fannie
JOHNSON married on 15 July 1798 in Elbert County,
Georgia. I found a descendant of Fanny's brother, whose name was Andrew JOHNSON, his wife Matilda (HUSTON). I believe that he came with the TAYLOR'S from Elbert County, possibly to Smith Co. Tennessee then moving on to Indiana. Andrew JOHNAON, born in S. Carolina married Matilda (HUSTON), in Montgomery Co. Indiana. Andrew and Matilda's children (born between years 1839 and 1856) were, Andrew, George, Jane, Samuel, Laban, Matilda, Alexander, and Emily, also lived in Montgomery Co. Indiana and are buried there. Who were there parents? Would love to hear from possible decendants.
