Lloyd Johnson, 84, TN, obituary; s/o Oscar and Addie Johnson

Lloyd Johnson, 84, of Kingston, TN, passed away Saturday,
October 24, 2009, at his home.

He was born December 16, 1924, in Roane County, he was the
son of Oscar and Addie Johnson, both of whom preceded him
in death.

Lloyd served in the Navy and was a WWII Veteran that loved
his country and had great pride and honor while serving in
the Navy. He retired from Y-12 after 35 years of faithful
service. He was member of Union Chapel Baptist Church and
for many years served as a deacon in the church. He was a
member of the American Legion Post 110 for many years and
a 50 year member of Union Lodge #38 F&AM in Kingston.

Lloyd was married to Reba Hughes Johnson, his beloved wife
of 63 years, who preceded him in death on October 5, 2009.

Survivors include his four children, Danny and Teresa
Johnson, Wilma and Russell Alexander, Linda and Jim
Braddock, and Rhonda and Don Cooley; grandchildren, John
and Teresa Stillman, Melinda and Tony Baty, Lori and Randy
Heidle, Brent Johnson, Rheanne Cooley and fiancé Brett
Grizzard, Vanessa, Veniessa and Rusty Alexander; thirteen
great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren,
nieces and nephews; brothers, Don Johnson and Ben Johnson;
and sisters, Peggy Roach and Faye Heidle.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.,
Wednesday, at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston, TN.

Funeral will be at 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 28, 2009, in
the Kyker Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Nickell and Rev. Eddie
Chasteen officiating, followed by a Masonic memorial
service conducted by Union Lodge #38 F&AM.

Entombment 11 a.m., Thursday, October 29, 2009, at the
Kingston Memorial Gardens.
