Thank you for the information. When families have been in the same area for 200-300 years, you find surnames repeating through the generations. It is interesting to see how they eventually meet up. My husband and I both have Johnson, both my parents have DuBois. My father, Ella DuBois (Kingston, NY) and my mother, Catherine DuBois(Salem, NJ), my inlaws both had Marks and Robbins.Today we found that my husband and a cousin (mothers were sisters) have paternal gr gr grandparents buried in the same church cemetery in another town in the county where both families live (Weeden and Nixon).I guess that is what makes genealogy so interesting...finding where the links are.
Thanks again,
Barbara
