My wife Blanch, dau of Major Samuel Goldsmith, and son Benjamin Wells are to be executors. The other children are not yet 18 and will receive their inheritance when they reach that age.
To dau Blanch the Manor upon the Chesterton River, Kent Co., MD which is 1500 acres between Gray’s Inn Creek and Sankeford’s Bay, called “Sankford’s Neck”;
to dau Frances 100 acres called “Black Island”, 320 acres called “Collet’s Point”, and a part of “Planter’s Delight”, in all about 500 acres; to dau Susannah Mary another part of “Planter’s Delight” and a small part of “Collet’s Point” about 250 acres; to son George part of “Planter’s Delight” (400 a), “Goldsmith’s Hall” (800 a), “Timber Proofe” (200 a), “Walston’s Addition” (81 a).
All children to get equal share of Horse Mill and house.
In consideration of the Estate I have possessed son Benjamin withall already in Anne Arundel Co., that whole estate, land, houses, servants, slaves, orchards, horses, mares, cattle, sheep, Hoggs, lumber, and debts he owes me.
Mentions my “cozen” Samuel Stockett and “cozen” Samuel Chew.
I give to son Benjamin and to his heirs by name of Benjamin also, 475 acres “Well’s Neck” or “Holly Neck”. The land in Anne Arundel Co was my father’s. (George Wells)
