I have been trying to gather Johndrow information hoping to determine how all the Johndrow's in St. Louis fit together. Here is what little I know. Eli Johndrow b. 1821 was the son of Joseph Gendron and was born in Kaskaskia, Illinois. His wifes name was Olive. Here are his children.

5. Joseph Johndrow b. Aug 22, 1856
+ Frances Rebecca Swift b. Oct. 3, 1861

3. Irene Johndrow

These families are strown about the St. Louis area and all the way up to Beardstown, Illinois.
These are the names of my Johndrow's. My gggGrandfather Eli Johndrow is elusive. I have yet to find a gravestone anywhere between Kaskaskia and Shipman, Illinois where his son Joseph is buried. Eli at one time lived in Alton, 1860-1870+, and lived in Portage De Sioux in 1880. There are some Johndrow's buried in Alton Cemetery, and they are most likely related somehow, but Eli still hasn't been found.
Any additional information would be wonderful.
