Mary Boan John
1850 CENSUS: Chesterfield District, SC, Page 108B, Family/Dwelling 152/152, Mary Bone, age 65, Female, born in SC; Effa BONE, age 37, Female, born in SC; Allice Bone, age 30, Female, born in SC.
In "St. David's Parish, SC Minutes of Vestry 1768-1832, Parish Register 1819-1924", Page 107, it states: 1859, March 17th, At the resident of James Eddins, in the District, William T. Goodwyn and Effy Bone were married.
There is a Chesterfield County Land Deed (Book 5, Pages 598-599, 3 Dec. 1866): James Eddings & Others to W. T. Goodwin whereby Shadrach Johns, Mary Johns of Washington Co., FL and James Eddins, Ann Eddins and Rebecca Bone of Chesterfield District are relinquishing their rights in 8 acres of land purchased by MARY BONE deceased of A. P. LaCOSTE deceased to William T. Goodwin. Personnel signing and witnessing the deed are: Ann Johns, Henry Joseph Johns, Alice Catherine Toler, R.C. Goodwin, James Eddings, William M. Eddings, F. T. Eddings, Ann Eddings, Alice Goodwin, , Rebecca Boan, E. Rushing.
Can anyone provide information on how these families are connected? It looks as if Mary Boan/Bone has died and now her daughters Mary [BONE] JOHNS, ANN [BONE] EDDINS, ALICE [BONE] GOODWIN and REBECCA BONE have inherited the land and the siblings are selling the land to Effy & William Goodwin.
