Actually it turns out that in 1790 on the SC Census there were 4 men in Cheraw Dist/Co with the surname of JOHN.

Azel, Elijah, Thomas & Roger.

I beleive Azel's sons are the 3 that are on the 1810 Census in Darlington Co, SC - Azel JOHNS, Griffith JOHNS & Levi JOHNS.

I beleive Elijah's son is Elijah JOHNS who married Sophia HERON in 1812 in Jasper Co, GA

Thomas doesn't have any sons on the 1790 Census

And I believe Roger's sons are my Zachariah JOHNS and the other 2 JOHNS men who along with my Zachariah show up in Putnam Co, GA in 1815/1820 - Thomas & Lewis. As well as a man named Jonathan JOHNS who's orphans participate in the 1805 Georgia Land Lottery.
