Elof Johansson, *1849 at Torpa Hospitalsgård, Dänningelanda parish, Kronoberg's län, Småland, Sweden. Married 1870 with Rebecka Pettersdotter. 1 child, Anna, *1873. Remarried 1875 with Eva Sofia, 6 children.
Convicted and jailed for forgery 1883 at Malmö and Långholmen (Stockholm) for 3 years. Released 1886. Got license from the parish for emigration 1888. Noted in the church archives in Växjö as "probably in America" (according to left-behind wife).
