My great grandmother was Edith Justina Egnell, the foster child of Carl Oskar Johansson (b. 8 Nov. 1854 in Gräfre Parish, ouside of Örebro, Sweden) and his wife, Johanna Matilda Åberg (b. 8 August 1850 in Österåker, which is in Stockholm County). They were married 6 April 1883.
They had biological children too:
1. Elisabeth (b. 16 April 1884, Hedvig Eleonora)
2. Edith Maria (20 Feb. 1886 in Adolf Fredrik Parish, Stockholm)
3. Ester Teresia (24 March 1889, d. 11 Dec. 1892)
Carl leaves for US on 8 May 1893, everyone else leaves in 1894 except Edith Justian Egnell. Edith Justina moved to Svartmanna 6, Stockholm, on 7 October 1892.
If anyone knows of what happened to Carl and his family, please let me know.
