Hello,
I was going through my Johannes files and found a copy of Genealogy for John George Johannes by his great-grandson Clifford Johannes, Brownell, Ks 1976.
He talks about the Johannes family coming to Logansport, Indiana where he attended Lutheran College. He and his brother married 2 Eidoloth sisters in Fort Wayne, IN.
Lets compare some notes. That means they were in Indiana for some reason before coming to Cole Camp, MO. It has always been documented that they married Agnes and Babeth Eidoloth, I always thought they married in Germany before coming here.

Jan
