Hi!
I'm still hope hope hoping someone who reads this as a "follow-up" to my earlier message, what the first name was of the "Mr. JOEL" who married Ellen MEYER (they were probably married in the 1870s and perhaps in Memphis, TN). They had a daughter named Hattie JOEL who was about 13 years old in 1892. What became of Mr. and Mrs. JOEL... were they both dead by 1892? It seems that Hattie JOEL was living in Canton, MS in 1892... but was she living with other relatives, or with one or more of her parents??
Hoping to hear from someone!
