I'm a Toronto Jobin. My great-grandparents, Alphons Jobin and Locide Gignac, arrived in Toronto at the end of the 19th century with their children. Alex, my grandfather, was born in L'Assomption to the east of Montreal in 1878. What information are you looking for? My mother spoke of Louis Jobin as cousin as well as the opera singer, Roaul. That makes us cousins.
