2. Calendar of Wills, 1786-1790, pp. 125 (New Jersey). 1789, February 19. Jobs, Elizabeth (sic) of Montahue, Sussex county, Ward, daughter of Joseph Jobs (sic), of same place, deceased, 1789, Feb 19. Guardian-Wilhelmus Westbrook...(said Ward is under 14)...
3. NSDAR Patriot Index, Wilhelmus Westbrook, born 10-3-1748, died 5-2-1805. Was an Ensign, New Jersey in the Revolutionary War, married Aeltje (sic) Jobe.
4. Proceedings of the New Jersey Historical Society, Vol LXXXII, No. 4, October 1964, pp. 273-274. "Maraders in the Minisink" by Frederick W. Bogert. [the Minisink Valley] an Indian party crossed into Montague township, Sussex county and "tomahawked a family named Jobs (sic)" in 1777. 'However this record is not confirmed'
