I have been looking for Elizabeth Jobes. She married Andrew Jackson Gibbens 1867 in Camden, Hillsdale Co, MI. They had a son/daughter, Francis A. Gibbens, 1868, in Hillsdale Co, MI or Williams Co, OH. They had a daughter, Bertha Jane Gibbens, 1872, in Hillsdale Co, MI or Williams Co, OH. They divorced in 1877 in Williams Co, OH. The divorce papers said she had been gone for three years. I found Bertha in 1880 living with her father and his second wife, Adella Taylor, in Williams Co, OH. I have not been able to find Elizabeth or her oldest child, Francis. There was a letter from Francis to his/her father in 1879. No return address nor were we able to determine if it was a boy or girl. Do you have an Elizabeth in your Jobes line that was born in the 1840's?
