Nancy - I am not too sure where they came from in France. I know so little about that side of my family. But, it is - believe it or not - a Nancy Jobelios. I am working from a written history a GAunt wrote for me 25 yrs ago. Her Mother, Mathilda Hubert m Henry Charles Dupuis in 1877.

" She had two Aunts that were well know to us. One was Aunt Nancy Jolibois, who lived in a very old house in Sandwhich, Ontario. She and her two daughters, Ellen Jolibois and Rose O'Donnell and her daughter, Marie visited us often and we visited them."

In the history, my Aunt mentions a story of Aunt Nancy and the indians. Then goes onto mention relatives in the Sandwhich area by the name of Peche, who made wine commercially, and had a son Raymond who became a priest.
The other Aunt was a Fanchon Rodier. I don't know if Nancy and Fanchon were sisters. I don't know if they were related to Matilda through her mother - name unknown - or through her father. any thought or input would be great.
