I am not a Jimmerson descendant, but have distant relations to this family, and a number of friends connected to this family. We are working on the families buried in the Ebenezer Cemetery, here in Rusk County. He is what I have, far from complete: Samuel Weisman Jimerson, born January 30, 1884, married December 4, 1902 in Rusk County, to Clara Elizabeth McCauley, born September 1887, daughter of John H. and Eliza D. (Flanagan)McCauley. Their identifiable children were: Granville F., Lottie L., Bettie Mae, Beattie Len?, Maruice, and Sam. Granville married Lois Standard. Samuel Weisman was the son of Wiley Jackson Jimerson (June 18, 1841 - October 6, 1928), who married first Louisa Armstrong. He married secondly to her cousin Charlotte Henrietta "Nettie" Armstrong - their father's were brothers. Wiley Jackson was the son of Thomas Franklin Jimerson Jr., born circa 1811 in N.C. He married January 6, 1839, in Cass County, Georgia to Mary Barr, and came to Rusk County circa 1872.
