My great-great grandfather is from Cavite and his name is Martin Jimenez. As per a distant relative, Grandpa Martin is actually an adopted child of the Jimenez family. Even so, I am still interested in knowing my roots as Jimenez. I read an article online discussing about the importance of the Jimenez Family in helping Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo in the revolution.
