Mary,

Marcus Jiles, age 38, Ella, wife, age 29, children Julian 10, Maud 8, Pauline 7, Dora 5, Lynn 4, and Dewey 1, are listed in the 1900 Lincoln Parish, LA census. All of the children are shown born in LA, except Julian and he was born in TX.

I am following Benjamin F. Jiles (1844-1914) and his descendants. Some were and are still today in Lincoln Parish. I would like to know how the above Marcus might be connected to my line. Do you know where he was in TX before going to LA?
